The ministry of Road Transport & Highways has been facilitating computerization of more than 1000 Road Transport offices (RTOs) across the country. RTOs issue Registration certificate (RC) & Driving License (DL) that are valid across the country .It was necessary to define same standards for these documents on a pan-India level to ensure interoperability and correctness and timely availability of information. SCOSTA committee setup for this purpose had recommended a uniform standardized software across the country. Ministry entrusted National informatics Centre the task to standardize & deploy the software VAHAN for vehicle Registration and SARATHI for Driving Licenses and compilation of data with respect to Vehicle Registration and Driving Licenses of all the states in State Register and National Register.
The VAHAN SARATHI are conceptualized to capture the functionalities as mandated by Central Motor Vehicle Act, 1988 as well as State motor vehicle Rules with customization in the core product to suit the requirements of 36 States.
“Sarathi service” are the service provided by the Transport department , Government of India.

ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस का होना आवश्यक है और यह होना भी चाहिए।सभी लोगो को जो ड्राइव करते है उनको यह लेना चाहिए।अब तो नया मोटर व्हीकल एक्ट भी लागू हो चुका है।सरकार को ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस के परमीशन की प्रक्रिया को सरल बनाना चाहिए। ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस की प्रोसेस जटिल होने के कारण कई लोग इसे लेने से हिचकते है।आजकल भागदौड़ भरी जिंदगी में लोगो के पास समय की कमी है ऐसे में अपना काम रोककर बार बार आरटीओ ऑफिस के चक्कर लगाने में लोगो का चिड़ना स्वाभाविक है।

Driving licenses shall be issued along with a awareness session conducted at driving schools regarding safe driving, lane discipline, Respecting rules like one-way rules, signal crossing, slowing down near bus stops, schools and zebra crossing, speed limits, no honking zones, overtaking, etc. Licenses shall be issued after these sessions are completed. This will help in reducing incidents like over-speeding, signal jumping, road rage, breaking of one-way rules, unnecessarily honking, etc.

DL should be made in school and college for students by arranging camp . So that future generations will be get rid of this problem.
Second bribes case and corruption wil be reduced at RTO office .
For non scholar camp may be arranged on holidays.

Driving licence is most important for driving but there are some parents who give permission to their child's and they don't what their child's do.so, I want you have to make strict rule that child's don't drive on road till they not able {18year} for this.Lastly,I want to say that you should also think about bus driver, because of him during last six there is increment in road accidents.

हमने सड़क परिवहन कानून के तहत ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस बनाना अनिवार्य है और ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस केबल सही व्यक्तियों को मिले इसके लिए आवश्यक है कि ज्यादा से ज्यादा ऐसे केंद्र बनाए जाए जहां पर टेस्टिंग के बाद ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस मिल सके इस प्रकार की सेवाएं सभी राज्य सरकारों को उपलब्ध कराने चाहिए यदि हम इस प्रकार की सेवाएं सभी व्यक्तियों को उपलब्ध कराएंगे तभी नए कानून के तहत हम कार्रवाई कर सकते हैं फतेह इस प्रकार के केंद्रों की स्थापना आवश्यक है

1 सितंबर यानी आज से वाहन चलाते वक़्त नियमों को तोड़ना को आपकी जेब पर भारी पड़ सकता है क्योंकि आज से मोटर व्हीकल एक्ट 2019 लागू हो गया है. इस एक्ट में जुर्माने में भारी इज़ाफ़ा किया गया है. नए नियम के मुताबिक नाबालिग के गाड़ी चलाने पर 25 हज़ार रु का जुर्माना और गाड़ी का रजिस्ट्रेशन रद्द होगा. बिना हेलमेट के दुपहिया वाहन चलाने पर 500 से 1500 रुपये का जुर्माना. पहले ये 100 से 300 रुपये था. दुपहिया वाहन पर तीन सवारी बैठाने पर जो जुर्माना पहले 100 रुपये था अब वो 500 रुपये हो गया है.
