Digital Literacy Campaign
Under the Digital Literacy Campaign Program, at least one person has to be digitally literate in every household and this program has started in all high schools. Under PMG Disha 11 lakh children have been registered, in which certification of 6 lakh children has been completed.
What is "Digital Literacy Campaign" (Disha)
Making one person in every family digitally literate is one of the integral components of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision of "Digital India".
The Digital Literacy Campaign or National Digital Literacy Mission Scheme has been formulated to provide training to 52.5 lakh people across the country, which includes general "Information Technology" knowledge and training to Anganwadi and ASHA workers including authorized ration dealers in all states / UTs across the country.
With this, these people can connect with the government's e-services in a good way and avail themselves of it and reach other people in a better way.
What is the definition of digital literacy
We can call digital literacy the ability of individuals and communities to use digital technology for meaningful work in various situations of common life.
Digital literacy campaign training
Under this campaign, the government will organize IT training for ration dealers, Anganwadi and ASHA workers in collaboration with various training agencies.
The broad objectives of this training are:
Making a person so digitally literate that he / she can search the Internet for any information on digital devices such as mobile phones, tablets, etc. and be able to send and receive emails.
Where will the training be and how much is the fee?
Its training will be conducted at your nearest IT training center or common service center. No training fee is payable for SC / ST / BPL families, its fee is Rs 125 / - for general category.
You can complete this training of 20 hours within 10 to 30 days.
