Jharkhand Urja Sancharan Nigam Limited (JUSNL) was set up in January 2014 and is registered under the companies Act, 1956. JUSNL started functioning as transmission licensee in Jharkhand since 06.01.2014. The Company owns Extra High Voltage Transmission system and operates about 4003cktkms (approx.) of intra state transmission lines at 400 kV, 220 kV, 132 kV level and 40 nos. of substations with transformation capacity of 6005 MVA.JUSNL have taken various initiatives for achieving the vision of “Power to All” in the state of Jharkhand:

At times new transmission lines are constructed by developers or public utilities to address any deficiency in the reliability of the power grid.This deficiency occurs when you are operating the T-line at itsthermal capacity.
