It is a wonderful initiative from the Jharkhand government that will add to the motivation of our sportsperson to put that extra effort in achieving these milestones. I suggest that there shall be consolidation cash awards even for runners-up who finish fourth or fifth in the competition. This will boost their morale further and inspire them to put that extra effort needed to win medals. Also, it will show that the efforts of even those who may not win medals but do their best is recognized.
